Calligraphy is a traditional Japanese art that originated in Chine and developed from there. You can express yourself artistically by writing characters on paper using a brush and ink through calligraphy. It's not just about the skill of writing beautifully, the spirituality and aesthetic sense are also highly valued. It helps to develop concentration and correct posture. This activity will provide a special 90 minutes of calm and concentration in this digital age of smartphones. You can also take home a one-of-a-kind, original piece of art created just for you.

Big calligraphy performance
We will present a powerful performance of large-scale calligraphy by our instructor.
(The artwork will be given to you as a gift upon request.)
Explain the principles, history, and techniques of calligraphy.
The instructor will guide you through the fundamentals, history, and techniques of calligraphy. You will concentrate your mind while grinding the ink and immersing yourself in the world of calligraphy.
Practice
Practice writing the characters you want to write many times on calligraphy paper.
Learn the basics of “stop”, “hook”, and “sweep”.
Final copy
You make a final copy on a colored paper and put a seal on it.
You can take your finished artwork home with you.
Presenting a commemorative gift
A commemorative artwork featuring the customer's name, written by the instructor, will be presented as a gift.
(You can also change it to your favorite words with prior consultation.)
